Nelson Mandela once so wisely stated, “There can be no keener revelation of a society’s soul than the way in which it treats its children.” At Top Tier Manhattan, we believe that future lies in our younger generation. Our world is constantly changing, and we need new minds to help keep it preserved, diverse, innovative, creative and imaginative. A society that treats their children in the best way creates the best future for itself. This is why we believe in One Hope United, a charity organization dedicated solely to help the future of children. “We had the pleasure of attending an event and discovering One Hope United, learning about the work they do inspires us, and we admire them wholeheartedly,” says Hannah Wolosek, managing director of Top Tier Manhattan.
The charity’s only goal is to make sure that they take care of all children from youngest to young adults and make sure they grow up in protected, loving environments. They state that Today OHU’s team of over 700 talented professionals serves thousands of children and families each year in Illinois, Wisconsin, Missouri, and Florida” This is a huge accomplishment. Apart from the fact that other similar organizations do this as well, OHU stands out because of their morals and ethics. Their motto derives from the primary purpose of caring for children and they strive to make sure everything is being done on the best level.
One of the services they offer apart from foster care programs, child development, and youth services is behavioral health. Being able to provide a full range of programs for individuals through extensive treatment and counseling is very important. Counseling the bridge that provides communication and therapy to the mind. OHU write:
“Our programs are evidence-based and use data to inform our practices and models, with the goal of reducing the risks to a family’s safety and well-being. We know that community-based interventions and enhanced care coordination create lasting positive outcomes, and we strive to serve as advocates for the children, parents, caregivers, and guardians we serve.”
“It’s important for individuals to realize just how much we need this type of work in the community. The level at which OHU work at is phenomenal, and we were happy to be involved in some way to help out,” says Hannah Wolosek of Top Tier Manhattan. We know that the humans at this organization at superhumans and will keep going and striving to make sure that no child is ever left behind and get’s the same support as any other child next to them.
